We have been working hard on learning about place value and rounding in class during the month of September. Here are the anchor charts we have used and they may help you for this Thursday’s math test.

Hello and welcome to grade 4. I’m very excited about the year ahead. Now that your child is in the junior grades, he/she will be given more responsibility. There will be many fun activities throughout the year. Be sure to check your child’s agenda, the school webpage and our classroom page to keep informed.

Our school is starting a new community initiative called “Dunes Packs”. Each student is given a colour group to be a part of. I have written your child’s colour in his/her agenda. On Friday, please have them wear that colour.

We will be focusing on rules and routines in the first few weeks of school. As well, I hope to create a classroom where all students feel safe and comfortable. We are also focusing on “RESPECT”. This really encompasses all our classroom rules.
